Our Story

Essential Equestrian Concepts began in 2013 with a simple goal: to create high-quality, affordable products that reflect the deep connection between horses and their riders. As a lifelong equestrian, trainer, and pet lover, I understand the challenges of balancing passion with practicality. What started as a small Etsy shop has grown into a trusted brand that serves equestrians and pet owners looking for durable, thoughtfully designed items that fit their active lifestyles. 

My journey in the equestrian world extends beyond just being a rider—I have spent years training horses, teaching students, and managing boarding barns. These experiences have given me valuable insight into what riders and horse owners truly need, influencing my product designs to be both practical and stylish. Whether it’s a functional tack accessory or a thoughtful gift, every item I create is inspired by my firsthand experience in the industry.

I share my days with my own horse, Calipso, who continues to inspire many of my designs, and my dog, Maggie, who is usually curled up in her bed in my office. Every product I create comes from firsthand experience in the equestrian world, ensuring it is both functional and meaningful.
